Ocean View Retirement Village

Ocean View Retirement Village on the Tweed Coast, NSW, required the design and construction of a custom clear-span walkway structure, as well as two tensioned awning structures.

The main clear-span walkway structure incorporated a barrel vault arched design spanning between two buildings and supported by four CHS columns.  Clad in premium Ferrari 702s PVC, the structure had to allow for appropriate vehicle clearance and rainwater run-off.

Completed in April 2007, the structure which sits elegantly over the main entrance driveway, provides a functional walkway cover between the Village reception and games room.
