Fabritecture PTFE Infills a Key Feature of the Adelaide Oval Western Grandstand Redevelopment

(Adelaide, South Australia – February 17, 2011) - Fabritecture successfully completed the design and construction of PTFE infills for the 600m2 Diagrid Roof Structure as part of the Adelaide Oval Western Grandstand redevelopment. (Roseville, MN – Oct. 30, 2010) – Fabritecture has been recognised with two 2010 International Achievement Awards (IAA) presented by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) for design excellence in specialty fabrics applications.

The award ceremony took place at IFAI Expo Americas 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., where the annual trade event ran from Oct. 27-29. IFAI Expo is the largest specialty fabrics trade show in the Americas.

Jethro Jones, Projects Director survives Tsunami whilst surfing in the Mentawi Islands

Jethro Jones, Projects Director for Fabritecture has been lucky to survive after the surf charter boat he was staying on was hit by another vessel following a 3m Tsunami. A major 7.7-magnitude undersea quake caused the Tsunami that hit Kepulauan Mentawai, off the west coast of Indonesia, at 9.42pm (1.42am AEDT) 25 October 2010.
