In 2001, the Bakersfield Business Conference appointed Fabritecture to design and construct a new facility, after the event had outgrown its prior symposium marquee venue. The new configuration called for the fabrication of a cost effective modular structure constructed on grass, without footings, that could be dismantled annually for the one day event. Today the structure has been relocated to Phoenix, Arizona as a permanent auction facility and municipal event structure.
